WE DID IT - AND NOW A BONUS ROUND!

Yes, in 47 hours and 58 minutes Blouberg became Globerg as hundreds of friends from around the world rallied to the cause and we reached our goal of R1.8m.
Now, thanks to three new matchers, we have an opportunity to raise another R360,000 for a total of R2,160,000, with, on request of the matchers, an extension of an extra 60 minutes, until 9 pm!
Yes, any contributions until 9 pm will still be matched x 4 and we will be able to grow even further than we dreamed!
Many thanks to our three matchers, they have dedicated their contributions: 1. In Memory of Sharon bat Aharon HaKohen, 2. In honour of a dear friend in need of a speedy recovery. 3. In memory of our grandparents.

THE SINAI CAMPAIGN 2017

IT'S ALL R1.8m OR NOTHING!

Our Past:

Image Menora on Beach Front.jpgIn September 2004 the seeds of the Blouberg Jewish Community were planted with the first Chabad of the West Coast Yom Kippur services at the Dolphin Beach Hotel, followed by the founding of The Shul in 2005, and the Sinai Academy Jewish International School in 2006.

Our Present:

Over the years both The Shul and Sinai Academy have grown steadily through the years which culminated in Sinai's Gala Tenth Anniversary celebration in December 2016.

Our High Holiday services have blossomed from the 30 people in the Dolphin Beach conference room, to the close to 350 souls that will path through our doors during the upcoming New Year services.

Our Future - is up to you!:

Today, as the Blouberg Jewish Community prepares for a year of Celebrating its Bar Mitzvah year, the Sinai Academy and The Shul have teamed up with Women of the World for our Sinai Campaign 2017.

Over the course of national Women's Day, the Sinai Academy PTA and The Shuls Jewish Womens Circle, are asking you to join them in achieving their goal of raising R1,800,000 for the future of our community.

This money will be allocated as follows:

SinaiNew_06.jpg R1,300,000 to the Sinai Bursary Fund covering the costs of education for children who otherwise would not be able to afford the high quality wold-class Jewish and General Education at the Sinai Academy Jewish International School.

R500,000 to the refurbishment of The Shul and Sinai Academy including a much needed commercial kitchen upgrade, classroom remodeling, Shul fixtures and more.

Thanks to our very generous matchers, for the 48 hours from 8:00 pm on August 8, through 8:00 pm on August 10, every Rand you contribute will be matched x 4!

Your R1,800 become R7,200!

Sinai 3.jpgR4,500 becomes R18,000! etc...

BUT IT'S ALL OR NOTHING!

Your credit card will only be charged if and (please G-d!) when we reach the minimum target of R1.8m!

So please, make a difference of R1.8m today for the growth and future of our community. THANK YOU!
